Oman was a country I visited for the first time in September 2022. This is the first Gulf country I visited other than Qatar where I reside.

 

Oman feels very contemporary where there is a mix old and new buildings but does not focus too much in being very modern like some of its neighbouring Gulf countries.

 

Oman is full of mountains where they are breathtaking views of canyons and valleys and lots of nature unlike Qatar for example, it is all flat and surrounded by deserts.

 

The Omanis we met are very friendly and offered and offered a warm hospitality as their way of welcoming you to their country to show you their culture and learn on the history of Oman.

Despite the wonderful things I saw, our stay was short but managed to at least visit a new country that we enjoyed and hopefully return 

in the near future to see places that we did not visit last time.
