In March 2022, I traveled to the United States on holiday. I stayed with family in New Jersey and for most of my time I would explore the neighboring New York City where I would spend most of the day until returning in the evening. The trip was unique as this was the my first visit to the USA since I moved out back in 2019.

The selection of photos are split in two galleries so as to showcase the themes of a bustling city full of buildings and activity, followed by nature showing undisturbed land and wildlife that freely roam the space without human interference.

My experience in the US felt very strange because of how during the time I was living in Qatar, the culture and environment I experienced there was completely different. It took me a while in the first few days in the US how to get accustom to the new environment not present back home.
